Global Collaboration

This letter is being sent home today. Please sign and return by December 6th. Thank you!

Dear Parents,

In efforts to inspire lifelong learners, promote academic skills, and engage students via technology, AIS encourages teachers to explore global partnerships to further curricular goals. The aim of global partnerships is to share what we are learning with authentic audiences and extend student understanding.

Your child’s safety and security are our number one priority. All websites and tools have been, and will continue to be, thoroughly examined by experienced educators and are used commonly in education today.

Your child will be participating in communication and collaboration activities with a Kindergarten class in Asuncion, Paraguay. We will be using Skype and/or Google Hangouts. Your child will be sharing classwork and exchange information with their peers. Teachers will review all incoming & outgoing materials before they are shared and make every reasonable effort to provide a safe learning environment for all children.
